The Budget Ute.

Let’s face it, no one likes spending money, and no one wants to throw upwards of $30,000 to a utility side-by-side. But thanks to CFMoto, we can have a killer utility rig without raiding our bank accounts.

The 2025 CFMoto UForce 1000 is that utility rig. With a bonkers starting MSRP of $13,499, you get a powerful engine, industry-standard working capacities, and tons of features only found on top models from other manufacturers.

Plus, CFMoto offers a one-year warranty to calm any nerves you might have about buying a Chinese-made side-by-side.

How much power does it make?

The 2025 CFMoto UForce 1000 makes 71 ponies and 54 lb-ft of torque from a 963cc v-twin. That power goes through a traditional CVT on its way to the wheels.

Let’s go back to that power for a second. The 2026 Polaris Ranger SP 570 makes 44 hp and starts at $11,999. Almost 30 more hp for just $1,500 more? We’ll take that deal all day long.

What makes it special?

You won’t find this kind of power, capacities, or features on anything else under $15,000. Aside from another CFMoto, that is. Similar vehicles from Can-Am and Polaris have less power with a bigger price tag. While you might think its because of American-made quality, CFMoto offers the exact same warranty as the other brands.

Why do I want it?

Simple: if you want a sturdy, hard-working utility side-by-side without burning your wallet, the UForce 1000 is the rig for you. Up to 2,500 lbs of towing is nothing to laugh at, and its right in line with most of the industry. Pair that up with a 1,000-lb bed capacity, and you have a rig that will work for you without missing a beat.

Why don’t I want it?

CFMoto has to hit that price somehow, and they do it by getting rig of luxuries. That means that there is no stereo, enclosed cab, or HVAC standard. While those features are available as added accessories, it’s a bit disappointing that the only real special feature we get is a 3,500-lb winch.

The aftermarket for CFMoto is also lacking compared to other manufacturers. So if you’re looking for a rig that you can dress up and trick out, maybe look elsewhere.

What trim do I want?

This part is easy, as there is only one trim to choose from. CFMoto wants the buyer to accessorize their rig as they see fit. That’s why instead of trim options, CFMoto offers a packed accessory catalogue. You do get a choice of three different colors, though.

If I like this… what else should I look at?

If this rig has too much power, or not enough power, or maybe just not the right features, we recommend checking out any other side-by-side from CFMoto. The UForce U10 and Uforce 600 are both fantastic options. Looking for something with a bit more aftermarket support? The Polaris Ranger 1000 or Can-Am Defender are worth your time.
