The humble CFMoto holds a unique spot in the side-by-side market. They’re affordable, offer the same capability as the competition, and they even offer luxury features that you would only find on the top models from Can-Am and Polaris. So what’s the holdup? Why aren’t these rigs populating every farm and jobsite?
Simple: they’re made in China, and that’s a turnoff for a lot of buyers. But if you want a counter-argument, look no further than the 2025 CFMoto UForce U10 Pro. It’s cheaper than a Ranger XP 1000, more powerful than a Defender Limited, and it even has a RideCommand+ competitor installed as standard.
Once you get past the “Chinese-made=bad” mentality, you’ll start to realize just how much CFMoto is changing the game. And to help even more, CFMoto offers a one-year warranty with every one of its vehicles. It almost feels too good to be true.

The 2025 CFMoto UForce U10 Pro makes power through a 998cc triple that puts out 88 hp and 69 lb-ft of torque. That power makes it to the wheels through an OmniDrive CVT. CFMoto won’t actually say what makes an OmniDrive transmission special, just “built to withstand the rigors of intense use, ensuring longevity and peak performance.”
It’s important to note that the U10’s engine makes more power than both the HD10 out of the top-model Defenders and the 999cc twin out of the Polaris Ranger XP 1000. It still falls short to the Ranger XD 1500, but that rig is almost $25,000 more.
Value is the name of the game for any CFMoto. For $16,999, you get the same top features from the top models of other brands and more power. A 4,500-lb winch comes standard, as well as CFMoto’s RideCommand competitor RideSync.
Like RideCommand, RideSync features a GPS, vehicle diagnostic tools, and entertainment options. The UForce U10 utilizes RideSync via an eight-inch touchscreen.

For the ultra-competitive price, you get a 2,500-lb towing capacity, 1,000-lb bed capacity, and an electronic tilt bed. An electronically-controlled bed is endlessly useful, and more more convenient than the standard gas-assist beds that come on most utes.
A fully-loaded 1,000-lb bed is extremely difficult to lift by yourself, and you end up either shoulder pressing the bed to get it to dump or having to unload it by hand until its light enough to dump. Electric controls completely gets rid of that problem, and you can now fully dump the 1,000-lb capacity with the push of a button.

Name recognition is important to some buyers, and a CFMoto just doesn’t have the same popularity as a Polaris or Can-am. And because of that, aftermarket support is almost non-existent. Ranger and Defender owners like to fully deck-out their rigs with giant, shiny wheels, killer sound systems, portals and more, and a lot of those parts are hard to find for a UForce.
Dealers and repair shops are also harder to find. There’s a Polaris dealer in almost every town, but you might have to travel to find a CFMoto dealer willing to work on your rig if anything ever goes wrong.

The 2025 CFMoto UForce U10 Pro only comes in one trim. You get door nets and a winch, and that’s about it for special features. You can grab a camo paint job for an extra $450, but that’s hardly an extra trim level.
If you want that big name recognition, you can’t go wrong with a Polaris Ranger or Can-Am Defender. Those can get expensive, so look towards the Kawasaki Mule, Kubota RTV, or John Deere Gator for other affordable utes. And if the U10 Pro just doesn’t have the capacities you need, look to the Ranger XD 1500, which currently has the highest bed capacity on the market.
