Wait, isn’t Segway the same company that makes scooters for mall cops? Yes, yes it is. But don’t let that stigma turn you away from one of the best deals in powersports right now. The 2025 Segway UT10’s whopping 105 hp from a rig with a sub-$15,000 starting MSRP is nearly unheard of in the industry, and it definitely deserves your attention if you’re in the market for a new ute.
Similar models from all of the big brands like Polaris, Can-Am, and Kawasaki all sit at least $5,000 over the UT10. Plus, you get sleek styling and graphics that set Segway side-by-sides aside from the rest. Sure, aftermarket support may be lacking, but does that matter in a rig this affordable?

The 2025 Segway UT10 makes 105 hp out of a 1,000cc parallel-twin. For comparison, the 2025 Polaris Ranger XP 1000, which starts at $21,499, makes just 82. That impressive power gets to the wheels via CVT. There’s nothing special about that transmission, just the plain old rubber belt CVT that you know and love.
Affordability and value is the name of the game for the Segway UT10. You will not find 105 ponies for under $15,000 anywhere else, especially not in a utility rig. Aside from the bonkers price, it also features a Ride Command+ competitor. The Smart Commanding System app pairs with your phone and features ride setting adjustments, safety alerts, and real-time ride data.

Aside the power-to-price value, the UT10 also features industry-standard working capacities. It can two up to 2,500 lbs and haul up to 1,000 in the rear dump bed.
Features are severely lacking and aftermarket support is near-zero. If you’re looking for a luxury rig with all of the bells and whistles that can impress all of your friends, maybe look elsewhere.

There are two trims to choose from: the UT10 S and the UT10 P. The cheaper unit, the UT10 S, starts at $14,499. A bump up to $16,499 for the UT10 P gets you half doors, a 2,500-lb winch, alloy wheels, and a center touchscreen.
We’d go ahead and go with the UT10 P to save the hassle on mods. Let’s face it, most buyers will want alloy wheels and a winch anyway. Why not just go ahead and get them from the factory?

For more popular utes with more aftermarket support (and a better customer service department), check out the Polaris Ranger XP 1000 and Can-Am Defender. If you’re on an even tighter budget, the Polaris Ranger 500 or CFMoto UForce 600 are worth your attention.
